Trip Six "Back With A Vengeance"

Trip 6 formed from the ashes of legendary NYHC enigmas The Psychos, with ex-Psychos Tommy Rat (vocals) and Stu Psycho (guitar) teaming up with ex-Ultra Violence/Warzone drummer Charlie Rage and bassist Zippy. This lineup existed for about a year and managed to turn the crunchy, metal-tinged Psychos set list into one of, if not thee, rawest and and most blown-out NYHC release of its time, 1987's "Back With A Vengeance" cassette. During their brief existence, Trip 6 also contributed the title track of the demo to Revelation Records' classic "New York City Hardcore: The Way It Is" compilation and recorded live sets on WNYU and WFMU Radio, the latter of which is presented here on side B.
