Finally, a domestic US pressing of the now-classic debut EP by Richmond, VA's one and only Direct Control. Originally released in Europe on Kangaroo Records in 2004, this first vinyl release from the band blazes through six tracks of killer, early-'80s-influenced hardcore. Taking queues from the meaner side of that era (bands like The Fix, CIA, Poison Idea, etc.), this EP captures the attitude and essence of those classic bands almost perfectly with a combination of biting, sarcastic, and spiteful lyrics overtop a nonstop barrage of fast hardcore insanity.
